A finalist for the 2017 Pulitzer Prize, award-winning journalist Dan Egan’s most recent book The Death and Life of the Great Lakes examines the world’s largest freshwater system. Speaking with WUWM’s Environmental Reporter Susan Bence, Egan will share the knowledge he has amassed about Great Lakes issues from human impacts to climate change that are stressing the massive freshwater resource bordered by two Canadian provinces and eight U.S. states.

Learn more by reading Egan’s June 2021 New York Times interactive feature article A Battle Between a Great City and a Great Lake. You will receive an event link in your registration confirmation email.
