Mathyas trades his life as a young advertising executive in Montreal to become a shepherd in southern France. Challenged by the harsh conditions, it is only when he meets Elise, who has also quit her job, and is entrusted with a large herd of sheep that he fully embraces his new life as they begin their transhumance journey through the mountains.
