UWM offers scholarships based on a variety of factors, including academic merit, financial need, leadership, and service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Faculty and staff are encouraged to use the <a href=\"https:\/\/panthers.sharepoint.com\/:f:\/s\/office-of-student-scholarships\/Ei6ZU_SQ4TJDl2uXLbObdWYBvX9OKI8cecoRQ4WkoTUEJA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Scholarships Promotion Toolkit<\/a> to promote scholarships to students in their courses or around campus, using the following resources:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/panthers.sharepoint.com\/:b:\/s\/office-of-student-scholarships\/EZAqHEuA8oNMt3yRZb4_zOYBiHOGpJbNhqvDyF0Vgc6DRg\">Poster<\/a>: Print\/post a copy where you think students will see it most.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/panthers.sharepoint.com\/:p:\/s\/office-of-student-scholarships\/Ef_a_AnGY6VJqqVfdnbrnioBgZwm1yvoeMZ5A4JVgTzoeg\">PowerPoint Slide<\/a>: Add to the beginning of your deck and display while students are entering and getting settled for class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/panthers.sharepoint.com\/:w:\/s\/office-of-student-scholarships\/ER_WYQGO0oFEveyHSkuzfesBGk4h3pn_nVO_hiLUtPvEOQ\">Canvas Announcement<\/a>: Post in your Canvas course anytime from November 1 until February 1.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/panthers.sharepoint.com\/:b:\/s\/office-of-student-scholarships\/EQTcQNmFmQtIuN3ES5zMTb4BfM6CyzWRFhUvNv7akXznqQ\">Digital Screen<\/a>: Publish on screens in your building anytime from August 1 until February 1.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/finances\/scholarships\/\">Website<\/a>: Direct students who ask questions here for additional resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for joining the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/finances\/scholarships\/about-the-office-of-student-scholarships\/\">Office of Student Scholarships<\/a> in our efforts to promote scholarships to UWM students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-do-students-see\">What do students see?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you curious about what students see or how you can help them?
