SUMMARY:The Natural History of Wood Ducks and Other Wetland Birds in the Bog
DESCRIPTION:“Waterfowl\, rails\, & bitterns — O my!”  It’s a wild world of water birds in the Bog.  Come explore it with us as we review the knowns and unknowns of these secretive creatures.  John O’Donnell will lead a hike to see if we can get confirmation of nesting in some of the nest boxes spread around the Bog.  Bring binoculars and wear warm boots and clothing. \nSpace is limited and pre-registration is requested.  For directions or to register visit www.bogfriends.org (click on the Events tab)\, send an email to fieldstn@uwm.edu or call 262-675-6844.  Walks are free and are open to the public; a $5 donation is appreciated.
