Donate Items To Foster Youth And Homeless Youth
Cards and snacks from home are important to college students.
Sadly, few foster youth and homeless youth receive them. That’s why Fostering Success at UWM developed the Care Package Donation Program.
Parents of UWM students can join UWM faculty and staff in donating items to contribute to the care packages that will be distributed to foster youth and homeless youth attending UWM.
Opening a box stuffed with goodies and realizing someone is thinking of them is one of the ways our students feel supported by the Care Package Donation Program.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the methods used to collect donations in the past are not available. Now, parents and families interested in helping are asked to purchase an item to be sent to Fostering Success at UWM using their Amazon Wishlist.
