Panther Athletics is home to 15 NCAA Division 1 sports that have enjoyed a high level of success both regionally and nationally including 142 Conference Championships and 61 NCAA tournament appearances. The Panthers have won the Horizon League’s All-Sports Award – the McCafferty Trophy – seven times.
Panther student-athletes also excel in the classroom, as the department’s cumulative grade point average has been above 3.0 for 41-straight semesters. In addition, the Panther Baseball team is the only Division I NCAA program in the state of Wisconsin and has produced 23 Major League Baseball draft picks.

UWM Panther Arena – built in 1950, this iconic Milwaukee downtown arena is the home to Panther men’s basketball.
Klotsche Center – this 3,500-seat multi-purpose facility is the home to Panther women’s basketball, volleyball, and indoor track & field teams.
Engelmann Stadium – the home of Panther soccer, Engelmann Stadium, which is located on UWM’s main campus, is one of the top soccer venues in the region.
Franklin Field – the newest ballpark in the metro-Milwaukee area, will be the new home of Panther Baseball starting with the 2021 season.
Klotsche Natatorium – this eight-lane swimming facility has been the home of Panther Swimming since its inception in 1977.
Elite Sports Club: River Glen – this is the home of Panther women’s tennis, located north of UWM’s main campus.
Panther Athletics offers season ticket membership, partial plans, group experiences, and single-game tickets for Panther basketball, baseball, soccer, and volleyball games for the 2021-22 seasons.
Students at the main campus of UWM receive free admission to all home athletic events with a valid UWM student ID.
