Ready for an unforgettable spring break? Escape Wisconsin\u2019s chill and embrace the warmth of Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas. Explore hiking trails that lead to breathtaking views, mine for sparkling crystals at Arkansas\u2019 famous Crystal Mines, and immerse yourself in the charm of historic downtown Hot Springs. Each night will be spent tent camping, cooking food and exploring new campgrounds rain or shine. Whether you\u2019re seeking thrilling outdoor experiences or simply a change of scenery, this trip has it all.<\/p>\n

This seven-day trip includes all transportation, equipment, instruction, lodging and meals. No worries if you haven\u2019t been camping before \u2014 we will teach you everything you need to know and provide you with all the essential gear.<\/p>\n

Registration closes Feb. 28. This trip will have two mandatory pre-trip meetings in March with all participants and trip leaders. There is an option to place a $200 deposit at checkout – the remainder of the balance must be paid in person at Outdoor Pursuits before the trip’s departure. \n3\/17 Explore Garvan Woodland Gardens and hike in Lake Catherine State Park
\n3\/18 Hike North Mountain Trails in Hot Springs National Park
\n3\/19 Explore the Wegner Quartz Crystal Mines, the Quapaw Thermal Pool and the Bathhouse Museum
\n3\/20 Hike Sunset Trails in Hot Springs National Park
\n3\/21 Hike West Mountain Trails in Hot Springs National Park, camp at Gulpha Gorge Campground
\n3\/22 Drive 12 hours back to UWM<\/p>\n
