EDS Diversity Series Event

UWM’s Office of Equity/Diversity Services is hosting its 2nd Diversity Series Event on March 31, 2017. Dr. Cary Gabriel Costello, UWM’s Director of LGBT+ Studies and Assoc. Professor of Sociology, will give his presentation, Sex and Gender Have Never Been Binaries.

Date: March 31, 2017                                                                                           Time: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM                                                                             Location: Chapman Hall in the Regents Room

It promises to be very informative and particularly helpful in familiarizing yourself with matters of sex and gender variances. As such, anyone can benefit from attending the presentation. Light refreshments and bakery will be served.

As a member of UWM'S faculty and staff, would you like to learn about how you can support military and veteran students on campus?  Kognito Veterans on Campus for Faculty and Staff is a 30-minute interactive online training program that highlights the unique needs and experiences of student veterans through three role-play scenarios led by student veteran avatars. The program provides participants with military culture information, best practices for referring student veterans to resources, and information about support services available to UWM student veterans.
