INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY &

A Day Without Women UWM

Ways YOU can celebrate women & all marginalized communities and commemorate the day:

1. WEAR RED in solidarity

2. DONATE period care products that will be distributed in our community

Boxes available at the Women’s Resource Center (Union WG93) & the Women’s & Gender Studies office (Curtin 535) from 3/8-3/15

3. MAKE a poster & WRITE a letter

Supplies will be available in the WRC from 11am-4pm on Wednesday, 3/8

4. RALLY! Meet at the fountain @ 4pm

Members of the UWM community will travel together by bus to join a larger community at the Milwaukee Rally, scheduled to begin at 5pm at the Federal Courthouse (517 E. Wisconsin Ave.)  Alternately, meet us there!

Panthers Against Sexual Assault, UWM’s HerCampus group, and the Women’s Resource Center at UWM
