Katinee Shawanokasic is an enrolled member of the Menominee Nation. Her educational background includes, early childhood/education, behavioral sciences and federal Indian law. Ms. Kata is entering her sixth academic year teaching Menominee Language and Culture at the Indian Community School in Franklin, Wisconsin. Ms. Kata is very excited to be attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and pursuing a BA degree in Language Instruction and Special Education.
