K&R Research Symposium: Developing Culturally Responsive Tools: Assessing Semi-Structured Interview Guides for Native American Populations

We are honored to invite community, staff, and faculty to join us for a day of research presentations at our Indigenous Kindship and Responsibility Research Symposium. This event will showcase the research conducted by our scholars throughout the semester. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day.
Tomas is a Senior graduating this spring in Psychology with an interest of cultural adaptations of psychosocial interventions, mental health of Native Americans, research of resilience, treatment of depression, and suicide prevention. Tomas’s presentation narrows in on his senior thesis “Developing culturally responsive research tools”, in specific, assessing semi-structured interview guides for Native American communities to ensure that qualitative research methods are culturally appropriate and meaningful.
