American Indian Science Scholars Program
SAVE THE DATE: July 07 – July 17, 2019

This FREE 10-day college awareness program is held at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for Native American high-school students (freshman year completed). This college and career awareness program focuses on health sciences and medical careers but all areas of interest are welcome . This year’s schedule will include:

  • Hands on experiences in investigative lab research including blood typing
  • Experience various medical scenarios in simulation labs
  • Testing and understanding water health with a boat tour of the Milwaukee harbor area on the R/V Neeskay
  • Trips to visit, tour, and hands on labs at the campuses of:
    • Marquette University
    • Carroll University
    • Concordia University Wisconsin
    • Medical College of Wisconsin
  • Room and board at UW-Milwaukee dorm included
  • Development of a “tool-box” that will prepare you for college
  • Cultural Activities
