Congratulations to Rick Horowitz, who led a webinar for opinion writers on October 1st at the Poynter Institute’s News U., in St. Petersburg, FL.

Horowitz, a long-time syndicated columnist (and a regular commentator for Milwaukee Public TV’s InterCHANGE) offered tools and strategies for defining, strengthening, and even varying the way opinion writers present themselves to their readers, in a session called “Connecting As a Columnist: Your Voices, Your Choices.”

The founder and Wordsmith in Chief of Prime Prose, LLC, he teaches business writing for the English Department, and has previously taught opinion writing at American University’s School of Communication, in Washington, D.C.
