Yu presents at the Future of Transportation in Wisconsin

Jie Yu, assistant professor, civil & environmental engineering, presented “Connecting Wisconsin of Tomorrow: Methods to Improve Public Mobility,” April 26 at a conference — The Future of Transportation in Wisconsin—held by the Tommy G. Thompson Center on Public Leadership at the Harley Davidson Museum.

The conference examined a host of issues relating to transportation including financing Wisconsin’s transportation system, the economic impacts of potential state policy decisions, access and solutions for rural and urban Wisconsinites, and the future of freight as it relates to Wisconsin’s ports, highways and railways.

Yu is a Thompson Center Research Grant Awardee.
