This symposium is part of a knowledge-translation project to move it from the laboratory into everyday use. We will share the research and evidence to date, hear from users, caregivers, clinicians and advocates about what real-world adoption takes, and work through the regulatory, commercialization and reimbursement pathways together.<\/p>\n<h3>Who should attend<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"kts-list\">\n<li>People with disabilities and assistive-technology users, and their families and caregivers<\/li>\n<li>Clinicians and rehabilitation professionals: PT, OT, PM&amp;R, nursing and assistive technology professionals (ATPs)<\/li>\n<li>Researchers, faculty and students in engineering, rehabilitation and health sciences<\/li>\n<li>Industry, entrepreneurs and technology-transfer professionals<\/li>\n<li>Policymakers, payers, insurers and disability advocacy organizations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Free, but space is limited.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.uwm.edu\/biorobotics-lab\/upcoming-events\/kt-symposium-2026\/\"><strong>Register by November 6 please,<\/strong> so we know what lunch count is.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A virtual option to attend is also available, at the registration link.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A one-day symposium bringing together people with disabilities, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, industry, policymakers and payers to move the mR2A robotic assistive arm from the lab into everyday life.
