This academic year, the CLC held several events for students including tours of The Couture, UWM\u2019s new chemistry building, Milwaukee\u2019s new convention center, and The Trade Hotel. They also held several networking events with industry professionals.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLooking back at all of the events from the spring and fall semester,\u201d Baures said, \u201cwe were able to accomplish a lot and gain a tremendous reputation throughout the construction industry.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UWM\u2019s annual Student Excellence Awards\u2014held this year on May 1\u2014formally recognize students who have exhibited leadership and exceptional contributions to life at UWM.
