If so, then study abroad could be a great option for you. Students in the College of Engineering &amp; Applied Science have participated in long-term and short-term study abroad opportunities, including some specific to engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/engineering\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/537\/2022\/02\/Taiwan.png\" alt=\"Students in Taiwan\" class=\"wp-image-11386\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/engineering\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/537\/2022\/02\/Taiwan.png 750w, https:\/\/uwm.edu\/engineering\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/537\/2022\/02\/Taiwan-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-taiwan-engineering-international-industrial-academic-leadership-experience-at-chung-yuan-christian-university-cycu\">Taiwan Engineering: International Industrial Academic Leadership Experience at Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This unique program is hosted by the Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU), a private university located in northern Taiwan. Participating students from the United States (UWM, lowa State, and San Diego State University) will spend three weeks studying and learning together with students from Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines and CYCU. This 3 credit program for sophomores, juniors, and seniors includes lectures, group projects, and field trips to high-tech factories in Taiwan.
