With NASA’s help, engineering undergrads help send experiment to space

Three undergraduate engineering students were part of a UWM team that, with the help of NASA, launched an experiment into space on June 21.
Congratulations to students Dan Cairns (mechanical engineering), Connor Nethen (electrical engineering) and Natasha Scannell (electrical engineering). The three are members of the Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS), a group of students from UW-Milwaukee and UW-Sheboygan who worked together to design and build a payload to test the effects of space flight on DNA.
