Rayz Seeks Two RAs to Assist in Numerical Modeling of Blood Flow in Brain Aneurysms
A UWM cardiovascular flow research lab is looking for graduate assistants (from math or engineering disciplines) to work on a NIH-funded project on numerical modeling of blood flow in brain aneurysms. Vitaliy Rayz, Assistant Professor, with appointments in Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering at UWM and in Neurosurgery at MCW, will consider candidates from UWM, Marquette University, and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Ph.D. students are preferred. The application of this research is to provide neurosurgeons with models that guide decision-making when considering treatment options of uncommon brain aneurysms.
