UW-Milwaukee EnQuest Day Camp is a one-week all girls engineering summer camp for high school girls; a college experience with a sustainable technology project made possible in part thanks to generous support from the Diane K. Schlitz ’59 & Harold L. Schlitz ’59 Memorial Fund, American Family Insurance, Creation Technologies, Eaton, Generac, the Fund for Diversity in Tech Education at UWM created through a gift from Satya Nadella ’90 and Anupama Nadella and anonymous donors.
The Day Camp meets every day from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm from July 8-12. The girls in this camp will create a solar power station for a community in Guatemala. The fee is $325.
The fee covers a portion of camp costs, with additional costs sponsored by the UWM College of Engineering & Applied Science and our sponsors. Camp Fee Scholarships are available to provide the EnQuest experience to girls for whom the fee is a barrier to attendance.
If you apply and your plans change and you are no longer able to attend EnQuest Day Camp, please notify UWM as soon as possible.
All must return signed forms for Parents or Guardians that will be mailed to you with your confirmation packet.
Once you are notified that you are accepted into the camp, a payment of any amount towards your camp fee secures your spot in the camp (with some exception for camp fee scholarship recipients). The remaining fee is due along with required medical/permission forms at least two weeks prior to the camp start date. The deposit fee signals your commitment to attend, it is non-refundable with exceptions for health-related circumstances.
Registration deadline is June 19, 2024. You will receive an email confirmation within a week of your registration.
