2 engineering students selected for televised invention competition

A team of students from the UWM, including two from the College of Engineering & Applied Science, will compete against college students from around the country later this year as part of a televised invention competition.
 
Grace Kilburn (senior) and Madeline Horinek (junior) and will be featured in season 3 of Make48, a nationwide competition and series on PBS/American Public Television stations across the country, where students have 48 hours to think of a product, create a prototype and promotional video, and present their idea to a panel of judges.
