Every year, UWM sponsors UW-Milwaukee Day on the first Sunday of the 11-day Wisconsin State Fair. This year the big day was August 8.
The fair’s Central Park was awash in black and gold, as UWM schools, colleges and offices hosted fun activities and giveaways. On stage, visitors could see a Science Bag presentation and live music.
Jeremy Page, assistant dean, represented the School of Education at our booth. Visitors had a chance to write a note of thanks on a giant banner for a teacher, counselor, coach, or educator who has made a difference for them.
