School of Education Students Strive to Improve Youth Reading and Writing Skills

UWM School of Education students work with young students to enhance their reading and writing skills. The six ways the UWM students help to improve these skills are through tutoring, bilingual teaching, building and utilizing ‘Word Headquarters,’ partnering and strategizing with Bradley Tech High School educators, encouraging the Early Reading Empowerment program, and preparing reading teachers.
