Pounce the Panther Book Published

Pounce the Panther will make his literary debut at this year’s Panther Prowl on Saturday, October 9.

All youngsters attending the Prowl will receive a copy of a new children’s book, “Hello, Pounce.” The book depicts Pounce’s adventures as he moves around campus enjoying a variety of academic and social experiences highlighting life at UWM.

The book’s authors, chosen by the UWM Alumni Association for their experience in children’s literature and education, are Donna Pasternak, professor emerita of English education, and Hope Longwell-Grice, senior associate dean in the School of Education.

The book is also available through local and online booksellers.
