Ray Scolavino works with the Milwaukee Area Collaborative Secondary Science Teacher Education Program (MACSTEP). In addition to mentoring students, he assists with teaching secondary science methods courses. His research interests include teacher preparation and teacher questioning. Scolavino is also an instructor for the UWM College for Kids Program.

Scolavino received his M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction and his Ph.D. in Urban Education (Curriculum and Instruction) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
