Robert Longwell-Grice is currently a senior academic advisor for the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). He is responsible for graduate student recruitment for the School of Education. Rob also coordinates scholarships for the School of Education. Prior to this Rob was the Associate Dean of Students at UWM. He also served as the director of academic services for the School of Education at UWM for a number of years.
Rob received his doctorate in educational and counseling psychology from the University of Louisville, and his masters in counseling from Penn State. He has held a variety of positions in higher education and student affairs during his thirty years in the field. Prior to his arrival at UWM, Rob worked for Penn State, the University of New Hampshire, New England College (in the U.S. and the U.K.), the University of Delaware, and the University of Louisville. Rob’s research interests include issues of social class, first generation college students and sustainability.
