Jean Hoffmann

Jean Hoffmann has 20 years of professional practice teaching young children and teaches courses in Early Childhood Education. She worked as a Kindergarten teacher for Milwaukee Public Schools, a Child Development Specialist for Milwaukee Area Technical College and recently as a lecturer of Early Childhood with University of Wisconsin Whitewater.
Her research interests are in understanding high school students’ experiences of being swayed from becoming teachers in light of the national teacher shortage along with recruitment strategies that resonate with them. Jean Hoffmann earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. She completed her M.Ed. at University of Wisconsin Green Bay and is All but Dissertation (ABD) towards a Doctorate of Education from Concordia University Wisconsin.
