DESCRIPTION:Community Engagement & Education (CEED) Information Sessions\nLocation: Online via Zoom (Register below)\nDates/Times: \n\nTuesday March 25 at 5pm: Register Online\nTuesday\, April 22 at 5pm: Register Online\nMonday\, June 2 at 5pm: Register Online\nTuesday July 15 at 5pm: Register Online\n\n\nAt UW-Milwaukee\, our 39-credit BS Major in Community Engagement and Education\, prepares graduates to become leaders in community-based organizations\, education environments\, nonprofits\, and government agencies. \nAttend fully online and/or in hybrid format. \nGain skills in: \n\nLeadership and collaboration\nEducation\nProgram development\nEntrepreneurship\nSocial analysis\n\nJoin the most diverse BS program at UWM. \nWork with supportive faculty who understand students have lives outside of the classroom. \nWe’d love to share more information with you on how the BS in Community Engagement and Education can lead to rewarding career opportunities in a variety of fields within the public and private sectors. \n\nCareers graduates pursue include: \n\nAdministrators in community-based organizations\nSupervisors of youth work programs\nCommunity organizers and social activists\nTeachers in charter\, private\, and (after post-bacc licensure) public schools\nAdministrators and advisors in student services\nOwners and directors of child care centers\nManagers of social service programs\nCommunity developers\n\nIt’s not too late to get started on your graduate degree this Fall semester! \nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
