DESCRIPTION:At UW-Milwaukee\, our 30-credit Master of Science in Cultural Foundations of Community Engagement and Education is preparing graduates to become leaders in community-based organizations\, education environments\, nonprofits\, and government agencies. \nThroughout this program\, you will examine the social forces that affect urban communities and schools\, look deeply at the challenges facing urban areas today\, and most importantly\, explore creative solutions. \nWe’d love to share more information with you on how the MS in Cultural Foundations of Community Engagement and Education can lead to rewarding career opportunities in a variety of fields within the public and private sectors. \nDate: Monday\, April 29\, 2024\nTime: 5:00 – 6:00 pm\nLocation: Online via Zoom \nCareers include: \n\nAdministrators in community-based organizations\nTeachers interested in educational policy and change\nSupervisors of youth work programs\nCommunity organizers and social activist\nManagers of social service programs\nAnalysts in education and social policy\nCommunity developers\n\nOur flexible program offers plenty of options for busy professionals\, Complete the program online\, onsite\, or hybrid.
