DESCRIPTION:PIECE Spring Speaker Series\nConflict Transformation: Strategies for Navigating Conflict Well\nDate: Saturday\, May 10th\, 2025\nTime: 9:30 – 11:00 am\nLocation: La Escuela Fratney 3255 N Fratney St\, Milwaukee\, WI 53212 \nWorkshop Title: Conflict Transformation: Strategies for Navigating Conflict Well \nPresenter: Dr. Sarah MacDonald – Training & Dispute Resolution Specialist\, UWM’s Division of Community Empowerment and Institutional Inclusivity\n\nDr. Sarah MacDonald joined UWM’s Division of Community Empowerment and Institutional Inclusivity (CEII) in 2023 as the Training & Dispute Resolution Specialist. In this role\, she fosters a campus culture of inclusion and belonging\, in which diverse identities and voices are valued\, heard\, and fruitfully engaged. Drawing on her expertise in conflict transformation\, Sarah works closely with the Office of Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights to provide negotiated resolution processes. She also supports the Vice Chancellor of CEII to offer trainings and consultations on proactive and responsive conflict transformation strategies.
