Sara Wright
- PhD Student, Educational Psychology: Cognitive and Developmental Sciences
Sara (Chopp) Wright is an ABD in the Educational Psychology PhD program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Sara is deeply committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within organizational cultures, with a particular focus on evaluating policies and practices through a DEI lens to offer insights and recommendations for improvement.
Her research focuses on the influence of critical consciousness on bystander intervention in civil courage situations, as well as the development and dissemination of educational programs designed to strengthen DEI efforts. Sara’s academic background provides her with a strong foundation in both theory and practice, allowing her to approach her work with well-rounded expertise.
Sara has gained diverse experience through multiple research and teaching assistantships in Educational Psychology, Health Informatics and Administration, and Public Affairs and Policy. Currently, she serves as an Instructor of Positive Psychology and a Research Assistant at the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare. Additionally, she holds the position of Senior Assessment Specialist at ASQ/E.
