UWM’s African Diaspora Council (ADC), which includes 240 Black faculty, staff, retirees and alums of UWM, has been busy the last few weeks. The group’s co-chair is Diana Borders, assistant director of business services in the School of Education.

The ADC has been partnering with La Follette for four years, and this year gathered enough supplies to also help Hopkins-Lloyd. The ADC worked in collaboration with the UWM Police Department to collect and deliver the much-needed supplies to the schools.
