Brief Event Description: ASL Studies Program and Interpreter Training Program welcome all participants to attend the Myth vs. Fact event, they will interact with various stations that are designed to debunk common misconceptions about deaf and hard of hearing people.

Tuesday, September 18 - Deaf Trivia
Free & Open to the Public

Community Partner: Deaf Trivia Masters

Time: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Location: Sandburg Flicks

Brief Event Description: Everyone will enjoy “Deaf Trivia” through a team competition that is being hosted by Deaf Trivia Masters! Trivia questions are derived from Deaf history, the cultural community and pop culture. Anyone in attendance, whether competing or not, will have a good time!

Brief Event Description: In partnership with the WESP-D/HH Role Model Infusion program, we will be hosting Deaf and hard of hearing community members to share their stories about their life experience. These honored guests will share the contributions they have made to the deaf community and larger society.
