Congratulations to the 24 new members inducted into the Pi Lambda Theta education honorary society on Oct. 15.

The event also celebrated the group’s 55th anniversary at UWM and paid tribute to Barbara Michaels. Michaels helped found UWM’s Beta Epsilon Chapter, and is a long-time supporter of the university and the School of Education.

UWM’s chapter now has more than 1,000 members.

The new inductees are pictured here with Associate Dean Hope Longwell-Grice at far left; Barbara Michaels, far right, and Rob Longwell-Grice, scholarship and recruitment coordinator and chapter advisor; and Jeremy Page, assistant dean of student services, at right.
