DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, 9/20 (from 11:30-1:30)\, we welcome Dr. Rhonda Sharpe\, President of the Women’s Institute for Science\, Equity and Race\, will discuss the American Economic Association summer training and scholarship program.  This is particularly aimed at students interested in graduate work and is an intensive program that gets students ready for completing a PhD in Economics.  There are scholarship opportunities available (particularly for those that may add diversity to economics). \nPlease feel free to drop in during her time with us (no need to be there for the full time). \nWe will provide lunch so please let Prof. Rebecca Neumann know if you plan to attend (email her).
