The MIDD has welcomed Anna Benko as new member. Dr. Benko is the Manager of SAILARC, the UWM mass spectrometry facility located in the Kenwood IRC.

Dr. Benko received her PhD from UWM and worked at Sterling Pharma (Former Cambridge Major Laboratories/Alcami) in Germantown Wisconsin where she spend over 10 years’ managing an industrial, cGMP compliant, analytical chemistry laboratory (including new instrument acquisition and validation, method development, technology transfer, work-flow management, quote generation and budgeting). As a manager of SAILARC, she is responsible for all aspects of the day to the operation of the Laboratory including budget generation, instrument purchases, quote generation, analytical instrumentation operation and methodology training and research support. She also has trained many UWM students to operated our diverse collection of mass spectrometers and actively supports several MIDD projects.
