Overcoming Adversity To Become A Champion – Nevil Shed

Nevil Shed is a former NCAA basketball player who was part of the 1966 all-black starting line-up featured in the sports drama, Glory Road (2006). This motion picture highlights the racial hostilities and mounting threats imposed on Shed, his teammates and Coach Don Haskins. There will be a showing and discussion of Glory Road from 2:30-5pm in the Fireside Lounge.
