Bio
Victoria Peters is a senior student and cat-a-holic, pursuing a BFA in Design and Visual Communication from Peck School of the Arts, as well as a General Business minor from the Lubar School of business, at UW-Milwaukee. She inherited her artistic skill from her grandmother, whose passion was music and playing the organ and accordion for her community. Peter’s parents however did not have the artistic skill, but the business sense, which inspired her to follow in their footsteps and become an entrepreneur, now managing two rental properties in Milwaukee. The focus of her education is design, however she has also gained knowledge in other artistic practices, such as printmaking, fibers, ceramics, and enjoys the challenge of incorporating digital artistic practices with the traditional. Unlike many, she equally enjoys working in 2D and 3D spaces.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, gossiping about terrible tindr dates with her mom and snuggling with her cats, Giles and Raja. Victoria looks forward to continuing her design education and gaining recognition in the community. Don’t let the sour lemon look on her face fool you, on the inside she is just as vibrant as the colors she wears, with designs more refreshing than Aquafina. Her goals include creating package designs for her favorite brands and inspiring others with her work.

Description
Mug Off is an app that empowers students by giving them peace of mind, putting them more in control of their safety. The app features a map that provides students with the safest routes to get home, and shows how close they are to safety walkers. If afraid, there is a panic button that alerts safety walkers to the student’s location and blasts a loud siren, further alerting campus security.
Mission
Mug Off connects students to campus security resources using their mobile devices, thus improving the experience of higher education by providing a safer environment for the students and faculty.
Vision
Mug Offs vision is to be the leading security app implemented by Universities across the United States. We would like to achieve this through establishing lasting relationships with our clients, the Universities, and exceeding their expectations.
