Description

Artivity Center is an interactive website targeted towards middle schoolers. Our goal is to show students’ how art is used in real world applications pertaining to their interests. Middle schoolers’ participation in the arts drops throughout middle school and into high school, and has been doing so for years. Studies show that students that participate in the arts do better in other areas as well as have a higher attendance and graduation rate, so keeping middle schoolers interested in the arts is important to maintain higher academic achievement and graduation rates. Artivity Center aims to show students that art plays a role in pretty much anything they are interested in.

Mission

To provide Middle Schoolers with real world examples of how art is used in relation to their interests through interactive art and education based activities.

Vision

Increasing graduation rates, attendance, and academic achievement through art program participation.
