Bio
Austin is currently a senior in the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee’s Design and Visual Communication program. Through years of practice Austin is hoping to be able to build his skills well enough to move directly from the student realm, to the professional. With his start in the Architecture field as student, Austin has learned many aspects of organization through design and has learned a lot about the 3-Dimensional world of design. He is able to see things in both the 2D and the 3D worlds. He brings a mass of skills to the table. He is prolific in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects. His strongest personal attributes are diligence, organization, and his ability to take criticism and use it to his advantage.

Description
Up-Lift is a company that provides a service for people that have issues with the knees, hips, and lower back. With the major commonality of injuries and pain involving these body parts, Up-Lift has designed a chair to help assist in both sitting and standing. The chair is designed to compress as you begin to sit down and lock in place. As you stand up you simply release the lever and it releases the pressure and begins moving upward to assist in standing. This design is to help improve in the process of recovery from these injuries and to assist as the user is going through physical therapy. Up-Lift strives to be your helping hand on four legs.
Mission
To create a chair to help in recovery from injuries relating to the hip, back, and knees.
Vision
Our vision is to help improve the simple task of getting in and out of a chair for people these issues.
