Bio

Kayla Couture is a Digital and Visual Communications Senior, studying at the UW-Milwaukee. Growing up, she has always had a passion for art and people. Graduating from High School, she began her journey at UWM as a business major. After some thought, she followed her heart and pursed a career in art, while still maintaining a part of the business aspect she craved. Being a past Resident Assistant for Sandburg hall, she had the opportunity to provide her knowledge and support, while collaborating with residents, fellow RA’s and the rest of her staff. Leadership is a skill that Kayla is always striving to improve and is currently the Vice President for Milwaukee’s local Sorority, Kappa Tau. She believes that anyone can make a difference, and that everyone should follow their heart and chase their dreams. Kayla hopes to use her degree as a path that will lead her to her dream of owning her own store, where she provides her own party supplies.
