Bio

Connor is a Design and Visual Communications senior at the Peck School of the Arts. The University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee has been an incredible opportunity to foster his creative talents, as well as explore design methodologies that best fit the developing design community. Most importantly, the experience has fostered an invested interest in the design perspectives of the people around him.

Having worked in a variety of positions over the course of his academic career, Connor finds the best solutions reflect the lives of people around him. Style, enthusiasm, energy, and the integration of the orthodox and alternative are approaches that Connor uses to faithfully realize a unique brand that best fits the individual. Understanding niche communities and the people within them is consistently fascinating to Connor, and he always hopes to dive deeper into the nooks and crannies of the world at large. Meaningful work results from fostering successful relationships with people, places, groups and experiences. Connor wants to learn more, and make good art along the way.

Description

Nendo is a service that allows creatives, from adolescence upwards, to develop and fabricate their own 3D printed figures. Nendo looks to foster the spirit of making, and encourages developing new skills and practice in the field of digital fabrication. By making what would be considered toys or models, the end product comes with tangible, physical fulfillment.

Mission

In our hearts we know one thing, we must make good.

Vision

Nendo is looking to change the way people play with technology. Toys are an important part of what inspire us. There’s always an impressive amount of functionality, design, and love that goes into modeling figures. Most of all, there’s a respect for the processes of a creative mind that we hope to foster.
