Born in Oak Creek, Wi, Ashley moved one city over to Milwaukee in order to further her education at UW-Milwaukee. From a young age, an interest in art unfolded as her Grandmother opened her eyes to the appreciation of fine art galleries which turned into a passion for design and illustration. She is currently a Design and Visual Communications at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is employed by UW-Milwaukee designing for UWM Union Marketing. Her passions lie in whimsical illustration, web design, typography, and graphic design. Description
Crowsnest is an app based system designed for electronic users to connect with other users as they work in public spaces with their electronics, allowing users to keep watch of each other’s devices and reducing the threat of theft. Each public space is considered a Nest, each user is considered a Crow. The more Crows, the safer the environment. Crowsnest allows individuals to feel relieved and protected from theft and damage as they build trust with nearby users who are also opted-in.
Mission
Our purpose is to protect the investments of financially insecure students and millennial, creating a safe environment for those who use electronics in public spaces.
Vision
Crowsnest hopes to create trusting environments, enhance productivity, and reduce theft.
