Andrew Fons
Bio
Andrew was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a place he has called home his entire life. Art, design and creating have been his life’s passion ever since he was a young child, with his first gallery showing at the age of 6 years old, at the Milwaukee Art Museum. This same passion for art, design and creation, has never left him over the years, and has been his life’s pursuit.
Andrew has spent over 25 years expanding his artistic abilities, not only through personal life experiences, but through higher education as well. Not only does his background include formal training in fine art, drawing, illustration and painting; but he has also expanded his knowledge to architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, product design, visual communication, web and print design. The most recent education in 3D printing and digital fabrication. Andrew’s intent is to be able to use/offer as many tools as he has learned, to positively impact our world.

Description
Artica has taken a new reimagined the 200-year-old refrigerator design to improve how we see, store and access our food. Striving to reduce and eliminate the need for an external power supply, Artica combines the Laws of Thermodynamics, with solar and wind power into their designs. Artica will provide the first residential refrigerator that is 100% energy independent. Along with energy conservation, Artica is also focused on environmental conservation through their refrigerator recycling program, Rethink Reduce Revolve (also the company motto)
