Description

Curbb is a GPS – mobile application duo that provides bike security for college students. Curbb’s
function is to pinpoint the bike’s location with user friendly features providing law enforcement with
the relevant intel for an efficient recovery of one’s property. Curbb’s approach to deterring bike theft
is separated into three main features: Lock, Locate, and Rescue. ‘Lock’ refers to activating Curbb’s
’Lock Mode’ which creates an invisible six foot perimeter around the bike. If the bike were to leave
the perimeter unintentionally the GPS immediately triggers the ‘Location’ feature. This feature simply displays a satellite map rendering that pinpoints exact location, distance, and destination of the
stolen bike. Lastly, the ‘Recover’ feature coincides with the immediate correspondence with law
enforcement and provides the essential information to instantaneously recover the stolen bike and apprehend the criminal! The reasons why bike theft isn’t taken seriously is that victim doesn’t have
the necessary information of location, distance, and destination. Ultimately, without the intel Curbb
provides law enforcement has a 5% chance of recovering that stolen bike. It’s time to Curbb the
problem!
