Bio

Kelsie Lane is currently a Design and Visual Communications major at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Two years ago she was accepted into the DVC program at UWM, and I will soon be graduating with this major in the Spring of 2017. Kelsie has experience with many different facets of design such as; company branding, themed designs, problem solving, and web/app creation. She well versed in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, but her creative skills also extend into a variety of hands-on type work too. For the past three years she has been working as an Intern at a large format printing company, Color Ink Inc located in Sussex, Wisconsin. This opportunity has given her an extensive background in what is possible for print, weather it be 2D, 3D, or experimenting with new technologies. Her passions are bringing a fresh take to outdated designs and ideas, as well as, creating plausible solutions to current design problems.

Vince is a Designer who also is in the DVC program at UWM. He helped me with branding and design as well as usability among the various portions of my project.

Jack Daily : Design Professional
Jack is currently a Graphic Designer in the Design Department at Color Ink Inc. He has worked with me on designs as well as functionality throughout the project.

Randy Klibowitz : Design Professional
Randy also works at Color Ink in the Design Department as a Graphic Designer. He has strength in video creation which considerably helped the flow of my video as well as guided me with design.

Stephanie Burch : Target Audience
Stephanie falls within my target audience, she helped to express needs of the clients to me. She oversaw my designs and helped me understand the usability of my blog.

Description

I am creating a blog that will strive to educate and inform people about the positives of eating organically. It will feature stories of interviews, farm visits, and other information pertaining to organic living.

Mission

With increased awareness about the food we eat, we wish to encourage the consumption of organically farmed goods. Providing people with information is our main goal, but we are also looking at the bigger picture. Increased consumption of organics would reduce fossil fuel emissions, keep our drinking water cleaner, provide better health to us and our world.

Vision

To create a world where organically produced food is the only food we consume
