Tuition for 2020-21

While the Board of Regents will vote on tuition rates at its June 4-5 meeting, tuition for the 2020-21 school year is not expected to increase for most UW-Milwaukee students. That includes undergraduate students from Wisconsin and the surrounding states that are part of the Midwest Student Exchange Program: Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and Ohio.

Tuition is scheduled to rise 1.5% for undergraduate students from other states and countries and all graduate students.

Segregated fees and technology fees are currently under review. UWM is exploring a fee structure that enables the campus to provide services to students both on campus and via virtual formats. These fees pay for the technology infrastructure for online courses and modified student services. More information about segregated fees and technology fees will be available in July.
