August 12 student town hall meeting with campus leaders

As we continue plans to reopen our campuses for the Fall 2020 semester, with the goal to provide a safe and healthy environment for you, we understand that you have many questions and concerns. Please join me and other UW-Milwaukee leaders for a virtual town hall meeting at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12. This Microsoft Teams town hall is designed especially for our enrolled students.

I will provide updates and several of our leaders will be available to answer your questions. We will share details of our plans to reopen, including information about online and hybrid course delivery, physical distancing and wearing masks, life in residence halls and more.

How to Ask a Question

Your voices are important. We invite your questions, which can be shared in advance or asked online during the live town hall by sending to: When submitting your question, please indicate whether you would prefer to remain anonymous. We have created a UWM Fall 2020 Reopening webpage that is updated regularly. Please check this comprehensive resource before submitting a town hall question as it may already be answered; there are hundreds of answers available just a few clicks away.
