Flu treatment and prevention
There is a peak in the flu every year around this time. Last flu season, Wisconsin had 17,210 cases. For specific advice on diagnosis, symptoms, treatment and taking care of yourself, go to the CDC website. If you are pregnant or have a chronic medical illness, contact your health care provider. Many people who get the flu who do not have a high-risk health condition don’t need to see a doctor.
