Where can I get a COVID-19 test if I live off campus?

October 17, 2020

Students at the Milwaukee campus who live off campus have several options for testing on campus and in the community.

Students with symptoms should make an appointment to be tested at Norris Health Center.

Off-campus students who don’t have symptoms can get a test in the UWM Student Union from 3 to 4:15 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Fridays. This also requires an appointment.

Testing also is available in Milwaukee County at community health centers and health system locations. Call the location you choose to schedule an appointment.

The Wisconsin National Guard is conducting free COVID-19 testing for anyone age 5 and older, regardless of symptoms. Drive-through and walk-up testing is available: Mondays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  No appointment is needed. Register here.

The National Guard testing sites are:

  • Milwaukee South – UMOS, 2701 S. Chase Ave.
  • Milwaukee North – Barack Obama School – Custer Stadium site, 4300 W. Fairmount Ave.

More information also can be found on the Impact211 website.
